Responsible for all front office functions and associates for both the JW Marriott Hotel Hangzhou and Courtyard by Marriott Hangzhou Wulin.  To supervise the front desk, concierge team, guest relations, executive lounge, business centre and AYS to strive towards total guest satisfaction. Ensure that all associates are adhering to all hotel policies, standards, procedures and regulations. Needs to be able to perform in all front office functions. Total responsibility for hiring, training and development of all associates working for the front office. Assist the dir. of rooms in all areas to ensure smooth operations.
1. Responsible for the smooth, efficient and professional operation of all front office and AYS areas.
2. Ensures that all procedures and policies are in place and followed.
3. Conducts audit and controls on a regular basis. Communicates with accounting in case of any irregularities; and coaches and counsels associates whenever appropriate. 
4. Ensure that all reports are prepared completely and on time. 
5. Ensure that an effective and complete training program is in use and that all associates are well trained and re-trained, as needed.
6. Ensure that SOP/LSOP is available, current and in effect. 
7. Ensure that the Guest Response Program under area of control is being followed effectively.
8. Ensure that the Hospitality Program is in effect and monitored daily.
9. Ensure that proper key controls are in effect.
10. Ensure that Purchasing Manuals are kept up-to-date and only approved items are purchased. Purchase Order Logs should be maintained.
11. Ensure that accurate inventories are taken: Guest and office supplies, etc.
