Bellagio by MGM Shanghai is set to become the world’s first Bellagio-branded hotel outside of North America, succeeding Bellagio Las Vegas in the United States. Born out of the Italian idea of “La Bella Figura,” The Bellagio brand represents the ultimate lifestyle integrating Italian aesthetics with modern style and elegance.
Expected to open in 2017, The Bellagio by MGM Shanghai will sit on the south side of Suzhou Creek on the North Bund, right beside to the historic Waibaidu Bridge. Guests can take a stroll down to the riverbank and take in the gorgeous scenery of The Bund together with panoramic views of the breathtaking Lujiazui skyline.
The hotel will have 162 spacious and comfortable deluxe rooms, including 22 impressive suites. The Bellagio by MGM Shanghai will house sumptuous dining options; Mansion on One, the hotel’s signature Chinese restaurant, harkens back to the elegance and style of 1920s Shanghai. Award-winning chef Julian Serrano brings authentic Italian cuisine to Lago with a great view of the Bund. All day dining café will offer guests the opportunity to experience a true American diner experience - breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Lobby Lounge will provide guests with English Afternoon Tea and craft coffee throughout the day.
To cater to conferences, social events and weddings of all types and sizes, the hotel is equipped with five specialized event venues, total at 2,000 square meters. The magnificent Grand Ballroom with natural light, is designed to accommodate all kinds of stylish and upmarket banquets, corporate or customized events. The atrium of the hotel also features a four-storey, state-of-the-court LED feature with integrated audio to enhance your special events.
