岗位职责/职位描述

Job Summary:
1.Responsible in achieving the Catering and Banquet sales objectives and revenue goal of the restaurant.
2.Develops strong rapport and builds business relationship with local customer base through sales and customer interviews.
3.Assists the Director of Sales and Marketing in the development of Sales & Marketing plan and in budget preparation.
4.Manages and administers the Catering and Banquet sales department to ensure smooth operation and all daily tasks are completed according to standard and in time.
5.Coordinates with departments concerned to ensure delivery of the highest standards of services to meet customer expectations.


Duties & Responsibilities:
1.To work with the Director of F&B to establish the strategic business plan for Catering and Banquet sales.
2.Assists with the development of new product themes and services.
3.Assists with the development of marketing strategies.
4.Takes into account external economic issues when planning and making decisions.
5.Manages financial reports, analysis, budgets and make pricing decisions for the department.
6.Ensures the achievement of business objectives according to budgeted guidelines for revenue and costs.
7.Coordinates work operations within the department as well as other related departments.
8.Prevents and resolves all guest concerns.
9.To negotiate with clients ensuring that profitability guidelines of the restaurant are adhered to and at the same time, guest needs and expectations are met.
10.Demonstrates effective and appropriate interaction with guests whilst maintaining a professional approach and image.
11.Possesses a high level of product and service knowledge in order to promote services and facilities to customers.
12.Develops appropriate administrative and communication policies and procedures in accordance with restaurant’s goals and guidelines.
13.Accomplishes sales calls on prospective clients to develop and maintain relationship.


Job Knowledge / Skill:
1.Leadership skills and knowledge of all tasks within the area of responsibility.
2.Knowledge and experience in Internet and other major computer programs.
3.Ability to use Sales and Front Office computer systems.
4.Knowledge in Corporate, Travel Industry, CI & M and Catering sales.
5.Ability and understanding of the market and competition.
