• Responsible for providing our guests with the highest quality of service, following standards and processes defined by the Management.
• Follow up every table in the section to insure all timings are good, no issues or anything unusual to report
• Be an ambassador of the restaurant; creating a genuine contact with every tables and guests in the allocated section, insuring that they are delighted by the experience.
• Report any issues or complains to Manager or Assistant, follow up the agreed action, insuring that guests are satisfied when departing the restaurant.
• Responsible for the preparation of hot and cold drinks, according to defined standards
• Follow up any special request / dietaries all the way thru the service, insuring that drinks / food served is as requested.
• Create, maintain and develop a close working relationship with the Management and restaurant team to insure trust and efficiency of the team as well as a good team spirit
• Create, maintain and develop a team spirit and a working environment where respect, passion, hard work, dedication, personal satisfaction and development are the key words
• In charge of the preparation （mise en place – MEP） of the dining room insuring that standards, procedures and timings are respected; as well as been fully checked before each meal period
• Perfect knowledge of the menu, produce and restaurant’s history are required, as well as developing it with time
• Be the link between the guests and the kitchen, for the food transportation but also the communication of any issues, request etc…
• Do monthly inventories with Managers, counting all the equipment as requested
• Attend the daily briefing going thru any changes on the menu, VIP’s information, talking about any service points from the day before （to be discussed with Manager before）.
• Insure that the uniforms are in perfect presentation and show the highest level of grooming.
• Provide day to day on the job training and coaching to colleague in order to constantly keep developing have consistency of standards
• Daily update of regular guests files with preference, personal infos, allergies, Bday etc…
