Essential Duties and Responsibilities
主要职责
 Analyses  and  monitors  maintenance  and  repair  operations  and expenditures for the Department.
  分析并监督工程部的维护保养工作的运行和费用
    Participates and reviews with the Chief Engineer the annual Engineering Departments budget of  this  hotel  and  makesrecommendations  as  to  the  most  economical  operation  of  the department 
 与总工程师共同审核酒店工程部的年度预算并提出最经济的部门运行计划。
   Reviews proposed Capital Expenditure Authorisation requests (CEA Forms) pertaining to the Engineering operation prior to the chief Engineer’s submission to the General Manager.
  在总工程师向总经理呈交前，审核有关工程运行的资金分配计划
    Attends  Engineering  Department  meetings  and  Hotel  Department  Heads  Meeting  during absence of the CE.
  参加工程部部门会议，并在总工程师外出时参加酒店各部门管理人员会议。
   Assist the Chief Engineer with the selection and training of staff (technical) for his hotel.
  协助总工程师对酒店工程部（技术）员工进行挑选和培训。
 Investigates and recommends sources when local purchasing of contract services, equipment,parts and supplies may be required.
   当需要购买合同设施，设备，零配件和材料时，调查并对供货源提出建议。
 Determines optimal operating efficiencies and takes the necessary corrective measures when any variance from standards is excessive.
  确保最佳的运行效率，并对不符合标准的行为提出改进措施。
  Supports and initiates programs for  equipment improvement and the eventual reduction of utility costs.
  支持并提出有关设备改进和实际费用降低的计划。
 Analyses and monitors energy costs and expenditures for the Engineering Department.
  分析并监督工程部的能源耗费和费用
 Supervises contractors as advised by the Chief Engineer.
  在总工程师的指导下，监督承包商
 Attends Engineering Department meetings as and when requested.
  按照要求参加工程部的部门会议。
 Responsible to ensure that the Hotel’s repair and maintenance order system is being carried out efficiently in order to avoid back logs of MO’s.
  确保酒店的修理和维护申请秩序被有效地实施以避免维修申请单的积压。
 Responsible to attend any training deemed necessary by the Chief Engineer or that of the Hotel Training Department.
  参加总工程师或酒店培训部认定的培训课程
 Complies with Hotel’s Health, Safety and Hygiene policy.
   遵循酒店的健康，安全和卫生规定。
    Maintains full flexibility in his attitude to work.
  保持灵活机动的工作态度。
     Performs related duties and special projects where and when instructed by his supervisor.

 Performs to the highest standards of his position and conforms to all local codes of practice.

 Interacts and cooperates with Hotel guests/outside contractors as directed .

 Interacts and cooperates with other departments of the Hotel as and when necessary.
