Major Areas of Accountability

1)     Meets and exceeds customer expectations byensuring department provides Good Service & Great Smile service andteamwork
§  Providesvalue added service to customers by doing whatever reasonable and possible tomeet or exceed customer expectations 
§  Communicateseffectively with customers, co-workers, an supervisors 
§  Demonstratesteamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers as needed
§  Handlesdifficult situations effectively 
§  Meets GoodService & Great Smile service standards 
§  Performsother duties as required to provide Good Service & Great Smile service andteamwork
 
2)     Welcomes and escorts customers upon arrival;exhibits courteous manners in accordance with State Guest Hotel’s standards
§  Openscard door and/or entrance door
§  Assistsguests by moving their baggage from the car or taxi
§  Assistscustomers with baggage to the front desk
§  Informthe guests where their car ban be parked
 
3)     Maximizes customer satisfaction and hotelrevenue by promoting hotel restaurants and other services and facilities tocustomers
§  Acquiresa working knowledge of hotel, in-house facilities and local information torespond to customer questions in these areas as required 
 
4)     Assists customers to check out from hotel
§  Assistswith loading of baggage after opening entrance and car door
§  Promoteshotel by inviting customers to come again
§  Contactlocal ground transportation, assisting customers as needed into vehicle
§  Requestsand collects room keys from customers 
 
5)     Maintains the upkeep and appearance of thehotel lobby entrance
§  Performslight cleaning in the hotel entrance by picking up litter and emptying ashtrays
§  Reportsany maintenance problems to Engineering Department for connection on a dailybasis
 
6)     Contributes to the overall security of thehotel by reporting any usual occurrences to security 
§  Reportsunauthorized, undesirable, or suspicious people to security 
§  Notifiessecurity of potential security problems with customers 
§  Turnslost articles in to “Lost & Found” immediately 
 
7)     Provides continuous miscellaneous servicesto customers as needed
§  Keepsentrances clear of cars
§  Reportsburnt out lights at hotel entrance to Engineering immediately
