Unique Responsibilities:
Assist and oversee reservation team to make sure all needed operation standard is implemented.
Maintain reservation system and ensure bookings, rates and market codes are updated correctly.
To select and train new reservation staff.
To identify key team member for future career development.
Communicate all VIP guest bookings with Guest Experience team to ensure top level service will be delivered smoothly.
Handle daily no-shows and make proper penalty decision.
Develop tracking and trend analysis to better understand the booking patterns and pace.
Adjust to changes in market requirements and the hotel’s sales strategies to meet business needs.
Assist Revenue Manager on Reservation up-selling program to maximize telephone sales revenue.
Assist Revenue Manager to set-up pricing restrictions in Opera and update rates and inventory on all online distribution channels to ensure the rate parity.
To assist Revenue Manager on collection of market intelligence and prepare daily/weekly reservation reports.
To ensure the facilities in the reservation department, equipment and offices under your supervision are maintained in excellent condition.
Actively promote a work environment, which cares for guests and associates alike.
Conduct the weekly revenue meeting in the absence of Revenue Manager.
 
Minimum Technical Competency/ Personal Specifications:
Undergraduate degree from an accredited university, college or hotel school.
Fluent English and excellent oral & written communication skill.
Minimum 2 years working experience on Reservation Supervisor level.
Good knowledge of Opera and computer application skills.
Effective interpersonal and leadership skill.
Goal driven personality.
