General Responsibilities
To ensure that the hotels are recognized, according to our positioning by the local and national press and dining and traveling public.
Unique Responsibilities 
1.    Communicate information about the hotels and it services and facilities, employees and events in a positive, stylish and attractive manner in person or in writing.
2.    Create an annual PR plan with monthly actions for the promotion of rooms and restaurants and bars in conjunction with the Chefs, R&B and DOSM.
3.    Contribute to establishing a climate of motivation and enthusiasm in the hotel.
4.    Issue press releases and features on the hotel to the local and national media.
5.    Maintain close relationships with editors and journalists of local newspapers, magazines, radio and television stations.
6.    Entertain local and international press with style, grace and charm.
7.    Introduce senior management to key Chinese and International media people in the city. 
8.    Coordinate the activities of our international PR consultants.
9.    Create opportunities for the hotel to sponsor local charities and or co-sponsor events in line with our positioning.
10.  Have a deep understanding of the hotel’s principles and attitudes and integrate this into your daily activities. Represent Swire Hotels in key events being held in the city.
Minimum Technical Competency/ Personal Specifications
1.    Undergraduate degree from an accredited university, college or hotel school.
2.    Know your job and continue your self-development by self-directed learning and participation in company sponsored training programs.
3.    Familiar with computer system and application software 
4.    Effective interpersonal skill
5.    Excellent oral & written communication 
6.    Goal driven personality
