职位描述

SUMMARY
Handles all sales activities and events including direct sales, sales solicitation and sales administration. Sales & Admin experience and ability to demonstrate strong client relationships driving FIT, catering and group business. Sales & account managements skills are essential, with an understanding of the market and business trends.  A good researcher, negotiator and client focused approach is required.  The candidate should be able to show a good of constructing and executing sales.  There should be excellent communication (verbal & written) skills, confident presentation ability and a second language would be an advantage.  Direct sales experience is essential (including skills in dealing with travel/event decision makers); .Promotes the desired work culture around the five core values of Trust, Integrity, Respect, One Team and Service of the Ramada.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Works together with the Sales Manager to maintain relationship with the existing portfolio and develop new accounts.
• Identifies prospects and recognizes sales opportunities, collects and analyzes local market data, current trends, competitor activity to generate new business leads.
• Understands the client’s requirements and negotiates room rates per their needs; prepares contracts in accordance with the segments pricing conditions.
• Attends sales calls on a daily basis, conducts hotel site inspections, client entertainments and telesales per outlined targets.
• Produces accurate and timely reports, utilizes various sales tools, schedules sales activities in advance, attends social and industry related events.
• Meets individual revenue goals and contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results and tasks as needed.
• Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.
• Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Ramada & Wyndham.
• Recognize opportunities to up-sell the customer and sell enhancements to create a better Ramada experience or event.
• Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, faxing). Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process.
• Gather materials and assemble information packages (e.g., brochures, promotional materials). Determine and give complimentary to guests as gifts for their patronage (e.g., rewards points, show tickets).
• Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts,).
• Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.
• Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel through direct sales
• Ensure comprehensive and complete coverage of own portfolio, covering all levels of accounts' managerial and departmental executives for a comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity
• Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets set
• Solicit and serve transient and group business and meetings
• Ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximize up selling opportunities whenever possible
• Ensure comprehensive and up to date knowledge of properties' unique selling points, features, amenities, services and policies
• Formulate offer letters and yearly contracts and any other required business correspondence
• Provide feedback on changing marketing conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone and / or direct mail Skills
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
