• The Crowne Meetings Manager is responsible for “Meeting Success” in the Crowne Plaza meetings, conference and event segment. They are the single points of contact for the client through managing the Crowne Meetings Cycle. The CMD assists in securing the business, plans the meeting/event, co-ordinates with hotel operations and clients before, during and after each meeting/event.

• Under the direction of Director of Sales & Marketing must ensure all meetings inquiries are handled within Meetings Success standard procedures and always meet 2-hour turnaround standard.

• Be informed on sales leads and business quoted to ensure business is maximized. At all times understand the client’s needs whilst optimising hotel revenue through strategic yield management and upselling of hotel facilities or service.

• Support the Hotel Sales team and Crowne Meetings team with site inspections, client entertainment, familiarisations and other events that form part of the sales and marketing revenue plan.

• Facilitate weekly banquet meeting and conference run-down meetings.
每周为宴会与各类会议提供帮助。
• Ensure that all client requirements have been confirmed and that these details are accurately and thoroughly communicated to the hotel operation in a timely manner.
确保客户所有要求都得到确认,并且细节部分是准确的,再及时地将所有信息传达给酒店操作部门。
• Act as the primary point of contact for detailed meeting/event planning, working closely with Banquet Operations, F&B management, Reservations, Rooms Division operation, Finance and external suppliers.
成为合作的桥梁,进行内外部沟通,主要和宴会部、餐饮部、预定部、房间分类部门、财务部以及外部供应商紧密合作。
• Ensure effective and productive coordination and service delivery with equipment and staff suppliers.
确保与AV供应商进行高效的、富有成效的协调与服务传送。
• Ensure regular client contact when meetings/events are in-house and ensure all hotel operational details are executed correctly.
室内会议/活动要通过每日例会定时与客户联系,并确保酒店操作的细节被正确执行。
• Ensure correct and accurate billing and confirm with client upon conclusion of event.
在活动结束时,确保账单项目及数额准确并与客户进行确认。
• Follow up with client to obtain event feedback and identify further business opportunities.
进一步与客户联系取得关于活动的反馈并确认今后的业务机会。
• Ensure client feedback is communicated and acted upon internally and manage resolution of any issues with the client within 48 hours.
• Participate in sales and revenue meetings (When possible. Operations to take procedure).

• Understand the seasonality of the business and contribute in decisions on pricing plans to balance yield and volume.

• Contribute actively to the compilation of annual business plan and strategic sales & marketing plans.

• Keep abreast of competitor activities to ensure our product and services are ahead of competition.

• Provide creative input into Meetings Product Development to maintain a point of differentiation by developing innovative product and revenue opportunities.

• Ensure compliance to Crowne Plaza Keys mandatories and implementation of new standards.

• Manage and service top Crowne Meeting clients and conduct face to face sales call.

• Be the main liaison of the SINEC/Pudong Exhibition centre and other call.
