Identifies, develops and maintains property sales objectives, sales plans and programmes in accordance with Hotel’s core values. To manage and execute Sales plans in her/his pre-defined geographic and market scope and initiatives to maximize profitability for the hotel in order to achieve budget, revenue and market share targets which includes Group, FIT travel sales, wholesale and other key luxury markets.
To maximise opportunities for raising The EAST BEIJING profile in markets as determined by the DOS/DOSM.
To build and maintain excellent client relations to establish confidence and to secure commitment to EAST BEIJING.
To develop new business for the hotel in defined areas and market segments.
To monitor and develop productivity of assigned clients and provide weekly evaluation on performance, and review effectiveness of sales activities, to the DOS.
Ensure professional processing of site inspection/entertainment and familiarisation requests.
Maintain effective communication with DOS/DOSM providing market intelligence on a regular basis and understanding of competitor strengths weaknesses and ongoing sales activities. Provide effective & timely solutions to maximise opportunities / minimise detrimental effects to the hotel.
To Participate in promotional / entertainment activities as required.
To participate on weekly sales meetings actively with ideas and concepts.
Establish a climate of motivation and enthusiasm among Sales Team and contribute to same in the hotel.
To travel on sales trips when needed and co-ordinate with DOS/DOSM.
Minimum Technical Competency/ Personal Specifications
Undergraduate degree from an accredited university, college or hotel school.
Familiar with computer system and application software
Effective interpersonal skill and a good team player, Goal driven personality
Korean as Mother tongue, English and Chinese at communication level are plus
Hotel working experience from Sales & Marketing or Front Office are welcomed
