Job Overview
As a Director of Sales & Marketing / Head of Sales, you'll work to ensure that the operation of the sales department is functioning at maximum capacity and to control the daily activities of the sales team members based on their respective job descriptions which include Group and FIT travel sales, wholesale and other markets.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome to the core of what being a Director of Sales & Marketing / Head of Sales is all about!
• Is able to co-ordinate with General Manager, SOPs for the Sales & Marketing Dept.
• Participates in the weekly Revenue Meeting with related departments.
• Penetrates existing Incentive houses in Hong Kong and worldwide.
• Establishes good working relationship with all local and international travel agents and corporate accounts.
• Adjusts to changes in market requirements and the hotel’s sales strategies to meet business needs. 
• Involves sales team in creating business plans for the hotel.
• Ensures that sales team are working productively and achieving their sales calls quotas and room night targets.
• Works closely with all related department heads.
• Has a deep understanding of the hotel’s market segments, their expectations and ways of attracting them to the hotel.
• Co-works closely with the Restaurant and Bars and Public Relations teams to create and promote interesting and successful promotions for our restaurants and bars. 
• Ensures effective communication with other hotel departments.
• Builds up and maintain an efficient and effective administrative system by supervising sales files to ensure proper contractual agreements are in place.
• Sets policies and procedures pertaining to sales and ensure all manuals/ systems are up to date and in use.

Requirements
Here's exactly what you need to excel in this role:
The Non-Negotiables (Must-Haves):
• A minimum of 5 years' Hospitality working experience, with at least 2 years in a position of similar capacity
• Undergraduate degree from an accredited university, college or hotel school.
• Possesses excellent entrepreneurial and analytical skills. Possesses the drive and charisma to motivate and inspire others.
• Adaptable, people-oriented and a strategic thinker, with good organisational and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment.
The Cherries on Top (Nice-to-Haves):
• Experience working in the Chinese Mainland, especially in the Beijing Market
