1. Maintains strong working relationship with Front Office to ensure effective communications for operational issues.
2. Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments.
3. Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
4. Ensures guestrooms, public space and associate areas are cleaned according to operating standards.
5. Ensures compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures.
6. Initiates and maintains an effective inspection program including rooms, public areas, associate work and locker areas, storage areas, recreation areas, laundry areas, garage and grounds.
7. Supervises daily Laundry shift operations and ensures compliance with all policies, standards and procedures.
8. Participates in the management of department’s controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
9. Ensures safe use of machinery by posting operating instructions and hazards and conducting periodic training and testing of emergency procedures with all operators.
