1.Manage the daily activities of the department.
管理部门的日常活动。
2. Plan
and organize work, communicate goals, and schedule colleagues to ensure proper
coverage. 
计划和组织工作，传达目标。
3. Ensure
all colleagues are properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to
effectively carry out their respective job duties.
确保所有同事进行适当的培训，配备所需要的工具和设备，并有效地履行各自的职责。
4. Educate/train
colleagues on current safety issues to ensure compliance with all local laws
and safety regulations. 
对当前的安全问题给员工进行教育/培训，以确保遵守当地的法律和安全法规。
5.May
assist with other duties as assigned and may serve as "manager on
duty" as required.

6.Maintain
and repair the interior and exterior of buildings, hotel rooms and
contents. 
维护和修理酒店的内外部设施，酒店客房和内容。
7.Ensure the execution and achievement of the hotel's
preventive maintenance program.
确保酒店的预防性维护计划的执行和实现。
8. Monitor budget and control expenses
within all areas of the department. 
监控部门内各方面的预算及开支。
9.Participate in the preparation of the
annual departmental operating budget and financial.
参与编制部门的年度预算及财政。
10. Establish and maintain procedures to: (1)
ensure
the security of inventory and assets such as tools, supplies, equipment,
furniture, televisions, etc.,  (2) replenish supplies and
inventory in a timely and efficient manner to minimize waste. 
建立和维护程序：（1）确保库存和资产的安全性，如工具，用品，设备，家具，电视机等，(2)及时的补充库存并用有效的方式使浪费降到最低。
11. Work with Design and
Construction team, engineers, and/or outside architects regarding renovations
and other such projects; contact contractors for bids and meet with
appropriate construction supervisors. 
与有关装修工程和其他此类项目的设计和施工队伍，工程师，和/或户外建筑师一起共事；联系承包商进行投标并约见合适的施工主管。
12.May be responsible for determining the security
requirements necessary to ensure that hotel property, colleagues, residents and
patrons are protected against theft, crime, and other hazards, and/or manage
the relationship with a third party security firm contracted for such purposes.
