PURPOSE OF POSITION职位目的
He leads his section and organizes all aspects of the hotel butler service to the highest professional standards and in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures. He is directly responsible for a smooth operation in coordinating with the other departments concerned e.g. the Housekeeping, the Front Desk, the Concierge, the Laundry, the Food & Beverage, Sports Center and Flower Shop. Respect the privacy of individual as well as the formalities, the culture and sense of place.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES重要职责和责任
· Manage and supervise all tasks of his/her staff of ensure guests receive prompt, cordial attention and personal recognition

· Communicate with Director of Rooms on all matters regarding guest services & hotel operations

· Ensures proper butler service procedures as commonly accepted in luxury properties

· Ensures that the Butler Service and Club House department, both in determination and daily planning and places emphasis on total guest care and satisfaction while focusing an efficient and profit related management of Raffles Hainan Hotel

· Acts promptly on issues and concerns in his field of jurisdiction

· Formulates,plans and adapts measures to have sufficient stock of Min-Fridge items.

· Formulates,plans and adapts measures to curb pilferage.

· Suggests and recommends on a continuous basis procedural improvements aimed to improve efficiency and service.

· Maintains an excellent reputation in the eyes of the guests and the staff.

· Arrange amenities and coordinate delivery time of amenities to VIP with Room Service, ensuring timely delivery.

· Respond to guest needs and resolve related problems

· Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on hotel premises and escort off property. Contact Security when necessary.

· Supervise and direct Villa and Club House personnel

· Inspect front of house and back of house regularly for cleanliness and orderliness

· Monitor appropriate standards of conduct, uniform, hygiene, and appearance of staff

· Provide input for Rooms meetings and conduct daily briefings

· Promote inter-hotel sales and in-house facilities

· Check billing instructions and monitor guest credit

· Analyze and approve discounts and rebates

· Analyze the rate variance report to ensure rooms revenue control

· Fully conversant with all hotel emergency procedures

· Ensure that Villa’s staff complies with FIT marketing techniques and maximizes sales

QUALIFICATIONS学历要求
· Degree from School for Tourism & Hotel Management

EXPERIENCE经验要求
· Minimum 3 - 5 years’ relevant experience with at least 2 year at a supervisory level
