Job Purpose
The position is responsible for building up positive public image for AccorHotels and its brands in Greater China by building and implementing plans of strategic external communications directed towards media, industry and the general public. Meanwhile, this position also takes responsibility of internal communications.
Primary Responsibilities
1st primary responsibilities
· Support to develop and implement media strategy
· Manage media pool and build positive media relations include influencers
· Evaluate and respond to media inquiries, include interviews for senior executives
· Create press releases / press stories / editorial materials that meet the needs of the Group / Brands strategy
· Create and implement media events / media partnerships / domestic and outbound familiarization trips
· Opportunities with key media’s social media channels, influencers
· Support and implement corporate social responsibility projects. Organize CSR events, build CSR promotional materials, coordinate with hotel teams for fundraising campaigns, PR campaigns
· Work with AccorHotels digital marketing team to maximize communications at AccorHotels’ owned social media channels
2nd primary responsibilities
· Support hotel openings
3rd primary responsibilities
· Explore opportunities / coordinate on 3rd party endorsements and recognition (awards for AccorHotels and its Brands)
4th primary responsibilities
· Manage supplier to monitor news and compile media coverage reports
· Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports
5th primary responsibilities
· Support Director of Communications / Crisis Committee in the occasion of Crises
· Internal communications – monthly eNewsletter, owners’ newsletter, internal communications supports
Other Responsibilities
· Provide administrative support to Communications Department
Knowledge and Experience
· Bachelor Degree or above in Communications or relative fields
· Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Communications field (PR, media, marketing, social media etc) preferably in travel / hotel industry include luxury segment
· Knowledge of media in travel / hospitality in Greater China
· Strong connection with media circle in Greater China include influencers
· Strong user knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office
