l To assist Director of Catering in the following aspects:

- ensuring overall smooth event management of MICE groups

- to be the expert for MICE event logistics in the Catering team

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES 主要职责
1. Business Plan & Event Management
业务计划 & 活动的管理
l To work closely with Sales team – MICE , Travel Trade market for more meeting, conference, incentive and exhibition business
l 与销售团队紧密合作 – 展会,旅游贸易市场,获取更多会议,会务,奖励旅游和展会业务
l To be a business partner with Director of Sales – MICE and MICE co-ordinator in the Buddy system so as to follow up their confirmed business
l 成为销售总监的商务合作伙伴 – 展会,展会助理及相关好友系统,以便跟进他们已经确定的相关业务
l To meets with event organizers for event logistics discussion
l 会见会议组织者进行活动的后勤讨论
l To review scheduled events and trouble shoot potential problems / conflicts

l To provide “One Non Stop” service to all MICE business including greeting customers, negotiating and up-selling services and products, event orders and change log preparation, and other necessary follow up
l 对所有会展业务提供“不停顿”服务, 包括招呼顾客,商讨和提升销售各种产品及服务,对于活动订单和细节变更进行预先的准备及其他必要的后续跟进
l Preparation of Corporate Action Plan/Resume and Welcome Letter

l Preparation of all necessary documents for smooth running of events
l 预先准备各种必要的文件以确保活动顺利进行
l To greet organizers prior to function starts
l 在宴会开始前向组织者打招呼
l To check function rooms set up to avoid errors and mistakes
l 检查宴会房间的布置以避免任何错误
l To get feedback and comments from organizers as after sales service
l 在销售服务之后,获取宴会组织者的反馈和评论
l To monitor all themed breaks and theme parties so as to give ideas and suggestions for improvement
l 监督所有主题的茶歇和派对以便给予改进的建议和意见
2. Sales Related Activities:
与销售有关的活动
l To participate in all hotel hosting functions.
l 出席所有酒店的主办的宴会活动
l To conduct site inspection for clients
l 陪同客户进行现场的视察
l To participate in Sales Blitz

l To achieve individual sales quota and booking pace
l 努力实现个人的销售闪电计划配额
l To up-sell the hotel products so as to maximize revenue and profit
l 对于酒店产品的进行提升销售,以实现收入及利润的最大化
l To propose new ideas for packages to meet market trend
l 根据市场变化提议新的套餐
l To schedule lunch/dinner/cocktail entertainment with guest
l 为客户安排午餐、晚餐、鸡尾酒会等娱乐活动
l To participate in Wedding Expo
l 参加各种婚展活动
l To participate related social gathering events for exposure
l 参与相关媒体曝光的社交聚会
l To encourage cluster sales for sister hotels
l 鼓励姐妹酒店的集群销售
3. Communications
公共沟通
l To attend daily briefing and other meetings such as MICE meeting, Department Head Meeting, S&M Meeting as per request
l 根据需要出席每日简会和其他会议,例如展览活动会议,部门领导会议,销售及市场推广部门会议
l To represent Catering Dept in meetings when Director of Catering is absent or excused such as Morning briefing, F&B daily briefing……

l To co-ordinate all last minute changes and amendments for MICE group with all department concerned with prompt follow up

l To arouse management’s awareness of market trend, competitors strategies and business opportunities
l 激发管理层对于市场需求,竞争对手战略和商机的及时了解
4. Administration and Others:
l Carry out any other duties as and when required by the Director of Catering.

l To handle complaints and revert to management if necessary
l 处理客户的投诉,并在必须时告知管理层
l To assist Director of Catering or Catering Manager and determine the individual booking pace for the team
l 协助宴会销售总监或宴会销售经理的工作,为销售团队每个人的预定进程
l To assist Director of Catering to do routine checking of Function Room tidiness and set up
l 协助宴会销售总监完成对于宴会厅房间是否整洁,是否按要求布置的例行检查
l To maximize space utilization of all function space for profit
l 将酒店所有宴会空间合理利用以便最大限度的提高利润空间
5. Personal Training and Development
l Provide guidance and directions to the Catering team during problem solving & price negotiation process
l 在如何解决问题和协商价格的过程中,提供指导和指示给宴会销售团队
l Provide advice and supervision to the Catering team in achieving their individual goals
l 在宴会销售团队完成个人销售目标是,提供建议和监督
l Assist Director of Catering to identify individual career training
l 协助宴会销售总监区分每个销售适宜的个人职业培训
l To conduct training sessions to catering subordinates for MICE logistics, concepts, general policy and procedures
l 对宴会销售部门的下属进行会展物流,基础概念和一般条例及程序的培训
l To support departmental trainer for new colleagues
l 协助部门的培训员对新员工进行培训
l
Perform any duties assigned by the Management deemed necessary.
执行任何管理层委托的工作。
REQUIREMENTS 职位要求
1. Education 教育学历
§ Higher Diploma or equivalent professional hotel training is preferred.
§ 高校或同等学历的专业酒店培训为宜
2. Experience 经验
§ At least 3 years relevant catering/event management experience, preferably in hotels with extensive catering facilities and capacities
§ 至少3年与宴会销售和管理的相关工作经验,对于酒店各种宴会设施及可能性有足够的了解为宜
§ Concrete on the road sales experience is a must
§ 必须有极其专业的销售经验
3. Job Skill / Knowledge 工作技能 / 知识
§ Well versed with computer and strong knowledge in handling event logistics
§ 精通电脑操作,并具有很强的处理会议物流的经验知识
§ Knowledge of Delphi is an advantage
§ 具备Delphi知识为佳
§ Strength in updated & high tech AV equipment is preferred
§ 具有对高科技AV设备及更新知识的为佳
§ Solid menu and catering related knowledge
§ 具备完善的菜单和宴会销售相关知识
4. Computer Knowledge 电脑知识
§ Knowledge of MS office software
§ MS办公软件知识
5. Language Proficiency 语言能力
§ Proficiency in English and Putonghua is a must
§ 必须熟练掌握英语与普通话
§ Excellent communication skills in both written & spoken English
§ 口语与书面英语都具备优秀的沟通技巧
