Event Sales Manager is responsible for handling events, seek for new business and maintain good relationship with clients. They will assist the Director of Events in focusing and motivating the team to achieve the sales goals.

Duties and Supporting Responsibilities
1. Assist in the establishment of catering sales administration, client history and tracing system within the Sales & Marketing.
2. Conduct regular sales activities to professional conference organizers, corporate meeting planners and relevant associations.
3. Conduct site inspections for and entertain existing or prospective meeting and conference influences, decision-makers and end users.
4. Issue BEO and coordinate closely with and provide detailed information to the banquet operations in order to enable the operations to "look after" the client effectively while the event is in-house.
5. Issue group resume and coordinate closely with other operating department (i.e. front office, housekeeping etc.) in order to enable the operations to “look after” the guests effectively while the group is in-house.
6. Conduct Pre-Con Meeting for coming groups and monitor guests feedback as per MbMO
7. Promptly share leads on corporate FIT and travel trade business with relevant members of the corporate and travel sales team.
8. Share leads and assist catering sales where appropriate.
Perform any tasks as assigned by the Management.
Job Requested
1. Minimum 2 years working experience in a role of either Conference Services or Catering Sales in the hotel industry.
2. Working knowledge of food and beverage operations and catering operations required.
3. Excellent presentation and proactive communication skills.
4. High Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
5. Possess a friendly, energized and outgoing personality.
6. Excellent English communication skills both written/verbal.
