The hotel has total 508 guest rooms and 6 distinctive restaurants. It sits on a network of public transport,including direct underground passages to the Metro Lines 2 and 7. Its prime downtown location provides extensive convenient transportation coverage.

We are currently looking for a Chef de Cuisine - Calypso Kitchen to join our Kitchen team.

As a Chef de Cuisine - Calypso Kitchen, we rely on you to:

•Be in charge of leading the Calypso restaurant kitchen to ensure operational efficiency, driving quality standards, whilst ensuring a high level of staff engagement

•Create and develop menus and recipes

•Maintain the highest food quality and sanitation standards consistently

•Ensure the ultimate guest experience in the restaurant

•Drive high standards of food preparation in order to increase profitability of the hotel

•Enforce the implementation of food safety programs throughout the entire department

•Enforce talent management initiatives to develop team members

We are looking for someone who:

•Has experience with proven achievement record in either a luxury restaurant or a 5* hotel environment in similar capacity

•Experienced in Italian cuisine

•Has a passion for Food & Beverage

•Always thinks outside of the box

•Enjoys being creative

•Has good organisational skills

•Leads by example

•Enjoys being challenged

•Enjoys interacting with people

•Communicates and writes with fluency in English; proficiency in local language will have an advantage

•Detail-minded, creative and has the ability to drive and lead change

•Displays curiosity and takes time to learn and understand new culinary trends
