1.Receive and issue linen for entire hotel departments, always checking to ensure quantity received before issuing. Record all items issued.
2.Sorting soiled linens. Inform superior for any condemn and damage linen.
3.Collection and delivery of guest laundry and dry cleaning item in a timely manner
4.Routine quantity and quality checking of all collected articles & items.
5.To spot clean the garments if stains found during checking.
6.Routine checking on all returned items which require followup action.
7.Take great care that no damages are done and be careful not to overload the washer.
8.Laundry or Dry cleaning as well pressing all guest garments and Ambassadors’ uniform as well as linens according to settled instruction, standard and procedures.
9.Ensure that appropriate separation and selection of appropriate program and chemicals are used.
10.Select detergents, sour, beach, etc and add carefully measured quantities.
11.Check garments and separate those in need of repair.
12.Packing final product if required.
13.Maintaining records in guest’s laundry log book. Filing of guest laundry record.
14.Posting of guest laundry by using computer in a timely manner.
15.Record all workloads that are process on daily basis.
17.Involve in linen inventory process.
18.Be a competent user of available equipment and automation tools used within the section and department.
19.Report any issue of equipment and check that it is cleaned thoroughly. Ensures all equipment and tools are maintained properly and in good working conditions.
20.Respect all safety measure and handling all equipment and chemical with CARE.
21.Ensures all public area defects to report housekeeping office or POMEC to follow up.
22.Keeps work areas and pantry cleaned & tidy and in order.
23.Be Consistent in delivery of service. Ensures a high level of customer delight, always meet and exceed customer expectation.
24.Ensures requests are expedite requests as quickly and effectivelyor referred to the respective and confirms with respective department for their follow up action.
25.Respond to all guest requests in an enthusiastic manner. Ensures a high level of guest recovery from guest complaints, and report to supervisor.
26.Get the all information from Housekeeping office for group arrival and all events for the day and be ready to answer guests’ inquires.
27.Never compromise safety. Become a main player during emergency drills.
28.Ensure safe working practices, adhere to safety procedures.
29.Full knowledge of emergency procedures
30.Familiar with and ensure implementation of the provisions and procedures of the hotel.
31.Follows and adhere to the grooming standards set by the hotel and department.
32.Attends training to improve work performance and maximizes potential.
33.Involves in multi-skilling programwithin the department.
34.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor at any time, complete the task on time.
