Supervise Coordinators、Sales Executive 、Sales Manager and Senior Sales Manager on daily operations.
Assist in conduct training to new staff.
Ensure wherever possible that Ambassadors are provided with a work place free of discrimination, harassment and victimisation.
Treat complaints of harassment and discrimination promptly and confidentially.
Treat customers and colleagues from all cultural groups with respect and sensitivity.
Identify and deal with issues which may cause cross cultural conflict or misunderstanding.
Ensures that all new clients have no negative credit references.
Assist DOSM with all the market information needed for business plan annually.
Keep very good account management with updated account profile, contacts profile and detailed activities as per assigned territory.
Organizes regular visits in accordance to a predetermined plan.
Submit weekly sales plan and weekly sales summary to DOSBD.
Update account profile on daily basis and report on daily debriefing.
Records the statistics of his/her sales accounts.
Be aware of each account monthly production and make action plan accordingly.
Work on time and be able to work overtime when necessary.
Be able to understand and read daily pick up report, revenue report and market segments.
Maintain existing business and develop new accounts.
Maintain good business relationship with all producers.
Complete weekly entertainment and weekly activities plan.
Conduct sales campaign by direct sales call / visits/mailing for group and FIT business, meeting and banquets from all sources for bookings and leads.
Make sure all reservations are correctly instructed for effective communication between sales and reservations.
Ensure all incoming correspondence and telephone enquiries are handled with efficiency and great care to build up a pleasant working relationship.
Keep clients advised of latest information regarding hotel’s development.
Be able to sell both rooms and banquet. Knows how to handle groups.
Monitor on-hand groups cut off days. Follow up contract, deposit and full payment.
Be able to bring in high yield business during high impact period and volumes during valley period.
Be able to handle RFP contracts and knows how to work with international sales office.
Provides after-sales service and in particular to ensure all guests complaints are taken seriously and discussed with the respective departments if necessary.
Be able to receive in the hotel any VIPS whom he has approached.
Achieve monthly individual goal assigned and team goal.
Ensures that all complaints are reviewed, investigated and follow-up action is initiated.
As directed, compile and input market intelligence information.
To familiar with the operation and application of the hotel's computer / data processing system.
Ensure the implementation and utilization of in-house software especially the “sales and catering”, use it efficiently and maintain its application.
Keep well informed about the operations especially in essential departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Banqueting etc.).
Closely observe matters pertaining to competition (sites, prices, services offered on a regular basis - quarterly or more often if need be).
Promotes the hotel as often as possible through entertaining，conducting, site inspections, and presentations of the hotel.
At all times, promote a positive image of the hotel in all forms of contact.
Develop & foster close and positive rapport with the public, guests, clients and members of the trade.
In his or her absence, the Senior Sales Manager may be replaced first.
