Job Description

•Responsible for implementing and managing the strategies required to achieve the marketing plan objectives and meet agreed sales revenue targets.

•Perform human resources functions to ensure that staff are selected, trained, counselled and rewarded to maintain performance standards.

•Maintain a positive community image for self and hotels and remain current on local business trends. Participate in voluntary organizations which are business related.

•Plan, develop and implement all systems and processes necessary to ensure the successful consolidation of the Hotels' Sales, Marketing and Reservations.

•Direct the development and implementation of the Hotels' consolidated annual sales and marketing plan.

•Direct the Sales, Marketing, Reservations and Communications Departments within the Consolidated Marketing Office to achieve the objectives laid down in the annual sales & marketing plan in the timeframe specified.

•Ensure the product is effectively displayed in all Distribution Channels.

•Instigate a system that provides frequent and relevant market research on clients, products, distribution and markets.

•Ensure adequate coverage at the major trade shows.

•Ensure overseas sales trips are effectively planned and coordinated to meet stated objectives.

•Maintain and improve both awareness and image of hotel in its respective markets.

•Ensure that all advertising material, sales collaterals, direct mail, promotional items or press material are compatible with the desired image of the hotels in the marketplace.

Qualifications

·Minimum 10 years' experience in Sales & Marketing with International Hotels in China
