POSITION SUMMARY

 

Create and maintainfiling systems. Create and type office correspondence using a computer.Distribute and route mail. Order and track Human Resources office supplies andforms. Answer phone calls and record messages. Create new employee personnelfile. Assist walk-in candidates with application procedures. Maintain spacedesignated for completing applications and ensure it is clean, well maintained,and accessible to individuals with disabilities. Respond to questions,requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company andHuman Resources programs, policies and guidelines. Inform Human Resourcesmanagement of issues related to employee relations within the division orproperty. Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and propertyrecords, files, and information. Ensure accurate maintenance of all employeerecords and files (e.g., interview documents, I-9's).

 

Follow all companypolicies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean andprofessional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protectcompany assets. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions tomanager. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and reviewwritten documents accurately and completely; answer telephones usingappropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships withothers; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately tothe concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations andstandards. Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/orpoint of sale systems. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objectsweighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform otherreasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

 

             

CRITICAL TASKS

 

Safety and Security

Report work related accidents, or other injuriesimmediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor.

Policies and Procedures

§  Follow company and department policies and procedures.

§  Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.

§  Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.

§  Ensure uniform, nametags, and personal appearance are clean,hygienic, professional and in compliance with company policies and procedures.

§  Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Recruitment

§  Monitor all hiring and recruitment processes for compliance. Assistwith internal transfers and external hires.

§  Assist with the coordination of pre-hire checks. Notify applicantsof results. Schedule and track orientation.

Hiring

§  Coordinate all on-boarding activities for new hires (new hireset-up, job descriptions, paperwork).

§  Follow all employment compliance standards for newly hired employees(I9, Job Requisition Files, Personnel Files, etc.)

§  Maintain and validate all personnel records in HR Systems(Peoplesoft, GRS, E-Verify, etc.)

§  Follow-up on all outstanding new hire paperwork.

Compliance

§  Assist management with HR Audits. Maintain tracking systems toensure all audits are completed timely and accurate. Assist with department LOAprocedures and processes.

§  Prepare and review written documents (e.g., daily logs, businessletters, memoranda, reports), including proofreading

§  and editing written information to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Assists Management

§  Assist management in screening resumes, conducting interviews andselecting new hourly hires using selection tools

§  and systems.

Working with Others

§  Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.

§  Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationshipswith other employees and departments.


§  Actively listen to and consider the concerns of other employees,responding appropriately and effectively.


§  Handle sensitive issues with employees and/or guests with tact,respect, diplomacy, and confidentiality.

§ Complywith quality assurance expectations and standards.


Physical Tasks


§  Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/orpoint of sale systems.


§  Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less thanor equal to 10 pounds without assistance.


Communications and Relations


§  Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees andmanagement regarding company and Human


§  Resources programs, policies and guidelines.


§  Inform Human Resources management of issues related to employeerelations within the division or property.


Hiring - New Employees


§ Createnew employee personnel file.


Administration


§  Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and propertyrecords, files, and information.


§  Answer phone calls and record messages.


§  Create and maintain filing systems.


§  Create and type office correspondence using computer.


§  Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files (e.g.,interview documents, I-9's, reference checks,


§  Drug Free Workplace Policy (DFWP), applicant self-identificationforms, department orientation check list).
