JOB SUMMARY
The AP Product Support team within Digital is responsible for testing/supporting all Chinese initiatives ensuring that our end users receive fixes, enhancements & products that work seamlessly and therefore provide an exceptional customer experience for our members and guests. They also act as gatekeepers for our Chinese products to ensure compliance with the CN laws. This role will conduct QA (quality assurance) for Aries & Mobile App releases, deployments, and projects as assigned.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED
Native Chinese speaker
Strong English speaker
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, and/or the QA (quality assurance) processes
Strong analytical skills and experience documenting test and use cases
Strong troubleshooting skills to be able to detail bug reports and assess issue impact to the application
Preferred experience with Agile development/methodologies
JIRA experience a plus
2-3 years experience in a Digital or Quality Assurance role
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Managing Work, Projects, and Policies
Review release scope and implement test plan
Author and execute test cases against in-scope items
Review, refresh, and execute standard regression suite for Digital platforms
Provide internal status reports to team
Execute production validation suite against each site as a build/release is deployed
Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution
Identify and escalate environment/testing risks in a timely manner
Provide sign-off on individual test assignment
Contribute to the release/product sign off process after completion of testing exercise
Always represent the Chinese guest as a SME (subject matter expert)
Supporting Operations
Works with team to put sustainable work processes and systems in place that support the execution of the strategy
Establishes and maintains complete and up-to-date information to ensure accurate reporting
Represents team in resolving situations

COMPETENCIES
Basic Competencies Fundamental competencies required for accomplishing basic work activities. o Basic Computer Skills - Uses basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.).
