Job Descriptions – Wellness Manager / Director

Responsible for drafting, developing, and implementing various strategies are designed to improve the overall well-being of our associates and clients.

 

Acknowledging, crafting and arranging different wellness program with attention to detail, efficacy and functionality. 

 

Provide strategic direction and oversight to maximize efficiencies in operations and ensure service quality initiatives are consistent with company and industry standards as well as customer expectations.

 

Maintain a cooperative and productive relationship with property leadership and operation team. Oversee day to day spa, wellness or hospitality operations. Follow-up and ensure resolution to all identified issues.

 

Develop a systematic review and action plan for operation issues, quality and guest experience indicators. 

 

Lead and manage a diverse team of wellness practitioner and supporting team members. Participate in the interviewing process of team members and ensure yearly written performance evaluation of all wellness staff.

 

Assist support services in developing, implementing, and conducting in service training programs that relate to the wellness department.

 

Review annually wellness services policies and procedures. Draft business plan and annual budgets.


Qualification & Experience:

A degree, diploma or professional accreditation in a related field of health, sport science or wellness.

 

Have broad knowledge of health and wellness practices and trends. Keeping up-to-date with changing technologies and new theories of health and wellness.

 

Prior working and management experience in the implementation of wellness programs in healthcare or hospitality industry in Asia

 

Good interpersonal skills as well as computer skills used for tracking effectiveness of operations and wellness programs.


Additional experience, ability or training in business, finance, communication and marketing strategy is a plus. 

 

5-10 years of work experience with minimum 3 years in management or leadership position in Asia.
