岗位职责/职位描述

Job Title: Human Resources Director, China Hotel Operations

Job Purpose:

To provide leadership to associates and management team by effectively managing the human resources function so that the organization has the right number and type of skill mix needed to fulfill business requirements, within the organizations agreed policies & local employment laws & regulations. This position is focus on Banyan Tree pre-opening Hotels of China,based on Banyan Tree Hotel management company in Shanghai.

Reporting Line : Direct reporting to AVP ,Group HR

Key Results Areas:

1.Regularly reviews internal and external compensation and benefits as well as keeping abreast of market data in order to ensure the organization is competitive in the market place and to attract and retain personnel. 

2.Assesses development needs and identify development activities that will support the growth of local resources in order to improve the overall efficiency & capability of the organizations resources for business success. 

3.Incorporates with the management team, assess organizational resourcing needs, including type and skill mix, in order to ensure the organization has the appropriate resources to fulfill business requirements.

4.Implements procedures and practices that encourage a high performing culture to ensure the organization optimizes its human resources for business success.  

5.Provides advice to the management team and associates on employment conditions and the labor law.

6.Ensures the organization is in full compliance with all local employment legislation including those relating to associate benefits, termination, etc.  

7.Oversees the organizations occupational health & safety policies and procedures.

8.Ensures consistency and equity in the management of human resources and to encourage best practices.  

9.Serves as counsel and adviser in handling labor related cases.

10.Develops and implements screening and recruiting systems to ensure qualified candidates are hired.  

11.Ensures that visa processing and employment licensing procedures are efficiently managed.

12.Maintains complete, accurate and up to date associate files.

2.Accurate and timely administration of all Personnel functions.  

3.Quality and standard of employee welfare and facilities

4.Quality and standard of employee communication programs  

5.Departmental expenditure maintained within budget.

- Proven track record in hotel of similar standard in similar capacity

Others:

- Determines policy within strategic guidelines. Is required to perform independently and proactively

- Excellent interpersonal skills required. Interacts principally with colleagues and occasionally  with guests

- 5 or more years in generalist HR role

- Bachelor or Master degree in related discipline
