Primary Responsibilities主要职责:
• Assist Executive Housekeeer to opeate Housekeeping
• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness expectations following the LQA audit guidelines in guest rooms, public spaces and back of house areas
• Ensure the highest standards of guest service expectations following the LQA audit and JDPower guidelines
• Actively conduct room inspections and random LQA audits
• Responsible for annual budget and maintaining correct supply of inventory and order as necessary
• Supervise all aspects of Colleagues, including hiring, recognition, developing and progressive corrective action, etc.
• Control department labour cost and over time as directed by management
• Ensure that colleagues follow all safety practices and reporting procedures and responsible for taking necessary proactive steps to reduce/eliminate employee accidents
• Assist in the development of and adherence to all departmental emergency procedures
• Create and maintains good working relationships within the department and with other departments such that a high level of morale is sustained
• Demonstrate by personal example a philosophy of work and conduct consistent with the professionalism expected of management employees
• Follow up with external contracting companies as needed for pest control, window & parkade cleaning, etc.
• Oversee operation of Laundry and Uniform Room
• Coordinate preventative maintenance programs with the Director of Engineering and ensure timely inputting and follow up of maintenance requests
• Conduct regular Housekeeping Departmental Meetings to ensure ongoing communication of policies, procedures, special events, Hotel goals and Guest comments
• Ensure that all departmental reports and correspondence are completed punctually and accurately
• Maintain a positive can-do positive attitude that reflects the values of the company (Respect, Teamwork, Empowerment, Integrity)
• Accept responsibility for carrying out other management duties as requested by the General Manager and/or the Director of Operations
• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service

• 协助增加并遵守部门所有应急操作步骤
• 建立并保持部门内部和部门之间良好的工作环境从而维持高水平的精神面貌
• 展现出个人良好的工作观念并与其他管理层保持一致的良好职业形象
• 积极跟进与外包公司针对于杀虫,窗户和停车场等的清洁工作
• 审查洗衣房和制服房的运营工作
• 与工程部总监协调预防维护工作,保证及时输入并跟进维修申请
• 定期开展客房部部门会议保证与员工持续交流政策、流程、特殊事件、酒店目标以及客人评价
• 保证所有部门报告和通讯及时准确地完成
• 保持乐观进取的态度从而反映出公司价值观(尊重他人、诚信为本、团队合作、施展空间)
• 负责任地接受开展其他由总经理或运营总监指派的管理工作
Knowledge and Experience知识和经验:
• Previous experience is an asset
• Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever changing environment
• Proven ability to successfully lead, train and motivate colleagues
• Minimum two years previous management experience in Housekeeping,
• Luxury Hotel Brand experience preferred
• Previous exposure to Front Office/Rooms Division an asset
• Must be highly organized, energetic and possess the ability to get the job done
• Strong administration, problem-solving and organizational skills are valuable for this important position
• Must be energetic, creative and thrive working under pressure
