What You Will Be Responsible For
The Residences Assistant Director of Finance works closely alongside the Director of Residences and the Director of Finance, overseeing the day to day operation of the Residential Finance Department and maintaining the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
PRODUCT FUNCTIONS
Approving purchase requests for the expenses related to owners association
Posting of supplier invoices
Ensuring supplier invoices are paid in a timely manner
Posting all Month End Journal Vouchers related to Owners Association and compiling Month End Management Reports
Balance Sheet Reconciliation on monthly basis with all the supporting documents
Coordinating the preparation of the annual service charge budget
Coordinating the submission of the Annual Service Charge Budget for approval
Raising Annual Service Charge Invoices and sending to Owners
Preparation for the monthly Owner's meeting
Maintaining the cash flow of owners’ association
Following up for collection of Annual Service Charge Invoices
Handling queries from Owners regarding billing, payments, etc

Posting all month-end journal vouchers related to the service budget and compiling month-end management reports
Balance sheet reconciliation on a monthly basis with all the supporting documents.
Coordinating the preparation of the annual service charge budget.
Coordinating the submission of the annual service charge budget to developer and private owners, once approved by the Director of Finance.
Providing commentary on monthly financial results to the Director of Residences and Director of Finance with the status of the service charge collection.
Preparation for any meetings requested by owners or developer.
Assisting the DOF and other accounting activities related to the overall mixed use development.
Identifying opportunities for improving and updating service delivery methods and procedures; review with appropriate management staff; implement improvements.
Participating in the development and implementation of goals; objectives; policies and priorities for the accounting division; identify resource needs; recommend and implement policies and procedures.
Submitting of all statutory compliances, returns and reports as per schedule.
Ensuring of all payments/disbursements that are legitimately incurred/reimbursed with the appropriate authorization
Providing relevant and timely response to corporate accounting queries and requirements.
Communicating of all information regarding policy, budgets and systems changes.
Assisting in preparation of specific statistical reports which may be required by local management or area office.
Guiding staff members of all departments on policies, systems and procedures.
Attending and participating in professional group meetings; stay abreast of new trends and innovations in the field of hospitality accounting.
Handling all problems with respect to the accounting office except those which to be referred to the DOF.
PROFIT FUNCTIONS
Monitor and control expenses of the owners’ service charge budget (OSC) paying special attention to the daily reporting done by the auditor of the hotel and addressing issues that not only have material effect, but also effect the residents’ experience.
Assist the Director of Finance in Forecasting and Budgeting of OSC.

Previous pre-opening experience is a plus
