  1. Takes an active role in the team bybeing kind, cooperative, and helpful and never forgetting the person behind theguest.

  4. Creating a warm and welcoming arrivalfor guests, ensuring that they feel expected and immediately “at-home” whenthey arrive.

  5. Prepares arrival guest rooms withamenities, welcome cards and / or amenity gifts as per the guests VIP statusand / or any other information.

  7. Maintains awareness of guest’s profileand specific preferences, ensuring that they are acted upon for eachreservation.

  10. Inputs information in to Fidelioregarding guests, ensuring accuracy and that all details are completed and thatthe information can be clearly understood by other team members.

  16. Effectively communicates, coordinatesand cooperates with Housekeeping, F&B, Room Service and Engineering etc.

  17. Reports problems with hotel systems,hardware or facilities to the appropriate party and follows up to ensure thatcorrective action has been taken.

  18. To collect daily requisitions of foodand amenity items from Receiving and Stores, ensuring that only quality itemsare accepted and then prepared. Manages the inventory of food stock, ensuringthat items are not wasted and handled correctly.

  19. Passes on information effectively,ensuring that all necessary details are communicated to the intended person andthat any pending action is completed and guest satisfaction confirmed. Attendsdaily briefings, shift handovers, meetings and reads the log book on a dailybasis.

  20. Ensures that the Executive Floor Supervisoris kept aware and up to date of operational issues.

  21. Ensures that the day-to-day functionsof the Executive Lounge Butlers are completed. Including but not limited tochecklist, set-up for meal periods, daily requisitions, buffet and breakfast setup, and replenishment.

  22. Ensures that Butlers stock is managedand not wasted, maintaining costs .
