1. To be instrumental in the building of an efficient team of employees by taking an interest in their welfare, safety, training and development
2. To ensure that all butlers provide a courteous and professional service at all time
3. Ensure all guests are being treated in an efficient and courteous manner that all standards are being applied.
4. Ensure that members of the Preferred Guest Program and its partner programs are appropriately recognized meet all Starwood Standards accordingly.
5. Coordinate activities with other hotel departments in order to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction.
6. Responsible for promoting hotel facilities, services and product to the targeted guest group.
7. Responsible for enhancing the product and service that is presented to the guest.
8. Able to make changes that respond to the marketplace and to guest needs, both present and anticipated.
9. To meet and welcome most of the guest personally and thanked on departure
10. To interact with the guest as much as possible, to ascertain preferences, dislikes and overall experiences at St Regis
11. To constantly review and evaluate all department standards and develop new procedures and operating concept as required to ensure the highest level of guest service is adhered to at all time.
12. To meet regularly with General Manager, Hotel Manager and Director of Rooms to review the operation of butler department to ensure smooth coordination and communication
13. To inform General Manager, Executive Assistant Manager or Room Division Manager for any complaints, guest comments and problems
14. To handle guest complaints, in accordance to hotel policy and procedures
15. Responsible to contacting guest for returning guest’s lost and found according to the hotel policy
16. Supervise the In Room Check In process
17. Supervise the service flow between Butlers, Housekeeping，To develop training plan for all butlers
18. To supervise butler pantry, update whiteboard, coffee and tea wares clean and undamaged, station appliance with full preparation
19. Check butler’s grooming in accordance to hotel standard
20. Uphold the Starwood Cares culture by demonstrating the Star Service Standards at all times to all guests and associates
21. To make sure that core values of St. Regis are implemented at all.
Five years butlers experience required. Supervisory experience preferred.
English, F&B knowledge, F/O knowledge, Concierge Information, HSKP knowledge, Service Skill, Computer Skill, Fidelio, the ability to handle complaints; The ability to distribute work, management ability.
