1.Implement the hotel's preventive maintenance program for your area of responsibility (including life safety equipment), as instructed by the DOE and ensure tasks are completed competently and within a given time.
2.To ensure through continuously physically inspecting all engineering areas within the Hotel, Making necessary adjustments and repairs, and implementation of standard procedures the highest standard of maintenance is achieved.
3.To ensure any work requests that may come from the Hotel's guests or respective department are responded to within a given time. All such requests are to be recorded along with what action is taken.
4.To ensure maintenance request assigned to you are completed competently, with the minimum of disruption to the Hotel's Guests and colleagues and within a given time. If, for any reason maintenance requests are not completed, these are to be highlighted and handed over to the Assistant Chief Engineer.
5.Ensure that at the start of each shift you obtain a copy of the function list for the day and be aware of guest services operating times and keep these items on your person at all times of your shift.
6.Ensure weekly tests of the Hotel's fire detection system, sprinkler systems, generator test, performances are recorded, and any repairs or adjustments required are highlighted.
7.Through continuously searching for new ideas and product improvements guests and colleagues demands are met.
