JOB OVERVIEW 职位概述

Direct the engineering/maintenance operations of the hotel to ensure the safety and comfort of hotel guests and employees and to ensure compliance with all Brand governmental regulatory requirements. May have responsibility for the Loss Prevention function.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 工作职责
· Direct day-to-day engineering requirements, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve team member performance.
· Educate and train all team members in compliance with governmental and safety regulations. Ensure staff is properly trained on quality and service standards and has the tools and equipment and is empowered to carry out job duties.
· Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. Communicate with all hotel department heads to stay informed of maintenance needs and ensure timely responses to requests.
· 指导工程日常事务，计划与分配工作，为每个员工设定工作和发展目标。为员工提供教导、辅导并给予定期反馈，协助解决各种员工矛盾，提高员工绩效。
· 按照政府要求和安全法规教育和培训全体团队成员。确保为员工提供恰当的有关质量与服务标准的培训，保证为他们配备完成全部工作职责所需的工具与设备。
· 通过与其它部门进行日常沟通和协作促进团队合作、提高服务质量。与酒店部门领导沟通，了解维修需求，确保及时响应。

ACCOUNTABILITY 责任
This is the top Maintenance/Engineering job in a large full-service, luxury, resort, or major flagship hotel with multiple sites and facilities, a number of major outlets, high-volume catering and convention facilities, and a large number of VIP and key guests. Supervises a staff of maintenance/engineering tradespersons and contractors. May oversee subordinate managers and supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS ANDREQUIREMENTS 任职要求
Some college or advanced vocational training plus six years of experience in general building maintenance and/or construction and supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Hotel experience preferred. Professional certification and licence if required by law. 
具有大专学历或高级职业培训经历，6 年常规建筑维修或建筑及监管经验，或具有同等教育和工作经历。具有酒店工作经验者优先考虑。需依法持有相关职业证书和许可证。
