职位描述
- Develops, monitors, and evaluates all Events related objectives, strategies, marketing plan and actions in the Events Sales Department with Sales & Marketing so as to achieve or surpass forecasted revenues.

- Implements the operational standards as per Hyatt Hotels Corporation Operations Manuals, establishing the Hotel as the undisputed trendsetter in Events Sales creativity.

- Works closely with the Executive Chef with creative suggestions and ideas.
与行政总厨保持紧密的合作关系,并能提供有创造性的建议和想法。
- Constantly reviews and monitors the guest service standards ensuring they meet the Hyatt brand standards and exceed the level of expectation of the market.

- Establishes a rapport with guests maintaining effective customer relationships and handles all guest complaints, requests and enquiries on Food, Beverage and service.

- Personally and frequently verifies that guests are receiving the best possible service.

- Spends time in each function / event to ensure that the function / event is managed well by Banquet Service and supporting team and functions to the fullest expectations.
应给与每个活动/宴会相应的关注,以确保其在宴会服务人员及相关的支援队员和活动的协助下,顺利进行并充分满足客人的期望。
- Prepares a yearly marketing plan for Events and convention sales, which is the basis of the Food and Beverage Annual Marketing Plan.
为宴会和会议队伍制定一个年度营销计划,为餐饮部年度营销计划的制定打下基础。
- Continuously seeks ways to maximise revenues and profits by cross selling and up-selling other facilities and service.
通过拓展销售和升级销售其它设施服务等途径不断地实现收入最大化。
- Monitors and analyses the activities and trends of other hotel’s banqueting departments and take proactive measures to ensure all events are well organised, original and exciting to set us apart from the competitors.
监察和分析其他酒店宴会部门的活动及趋势,采取先发制人的方法去确保所有宴会活动具有良好的组织性、潮流引领性和效应性,使酒店卓而不群。
- Actively courts and develops sales and marketing activities with key industry partners such as travel agencies, convention organisers.

- Ensures that all employees in the Events Sales Department are fully aware of market needs and trends and that their products meet these requirements.

- Assists with the development and maintenance of a detailed Department Operations Manual that reflects Policies & Procedures, work processes and standards of performance within the Division. Ensures annual review to accurately reflect any changes.

- Assists with the preparation of the Marketing Business Plan, ensuring Divisional Objectives fully address business objectives of the Hotel and needs of employees.

- Assists with the preparation and regular update of the Marketing Departmental Budget in close cooperation with the Director of Food and Beverage, ensuring targets are met and costs are effectively controlled.

- Exercises efficient Payroll Management / Resources allocation through the establishment of a flexible workforce throughout the Division. This will be based on the principles of a flexible employee base (Full Time & Part Time employees), multi-skilling and multi-tasking.

- Reviews and constantly seeks productivity level improvements of all employees through the process of “taking work out of the system” (when appropriate) and through streamlining of work process.

- Focuses attention on improving productivity levels and the need to prudently manage utility / payroll costs within acceptable guidelines, ensuring optimum deployment and energy efficiency of all equipment.

- Through hands-on management, supervises closely all Events Sales employees in the performance of their duties in accordance with Policies & Procedures and applicable laws.

- Delegates appropriately duties and responsibilities to equipped and resourceful employees, nurturing and developing them whilst ensuring standards of operation and safety are maintained.

- Attends and contributes to all Meetings as required.
