OPERATIONS运营

  • Maintain organization of banquet service areas.

    维护宴会厅区域的整齐有序

  • Review menu/service (BEO) with banquet service manager and banquet chef on a daily basis.

    每天与宴会厅服务经理和宴会厅厨师核对当天的菜单和接待通知单

  • Communicate any additional set-up requirements with head houseman and banquet service manager.

    及时地与领班、宴会厅服务经理沟通任何客人的额外要求。

  • Coordinate all food requirements with the kitchen, including accurate counts for preparation and plating.

    与厨房协调所有有关食品的要求,包括数量和出品方式。

  • Coordinate all liquor requirements with the beverage manager. Be responsible for maintaining budgeted banquet beverage cost.

  • Assign work/functions to banquet supervisor.

  • Directly supervise the work of banquet supervisors and waiter/waitress and personally observe the performance of all banquet service associates.

  • Directly responsible for the grooming, standards and appearance of all banquet service associates.

  • Insure that all schedule banquet/event functions take place on time and according to plan.

  • Make personal contact with guests an assist them with any requests.

  • Supervise proper tabulation of all banquet checks and be responsible for insuring that all checks are presented to guest for signature.

  • Prepare or review a critique made of every catering function. All problem areas should be noted and either corrected or a proposed solution should be forwarded to the Director of Event Management.

  • Conduct “pre-function briefings” and attend weekly function meetings.

  • Responsible to control and maintenance of all service equipment, Write work orders as necessary.

  • Bring to the attention of the director of event management/ banquet manager all materials and equipment that require re-ordering or need to be replaced.

  • Participate in hiring and initial training of all banquet service associates.

  • Prepare efficient work schedules for all service associates in terms of coverage and adherence to budget guidelines.

  • Responsible of maintaining the disciplines into a high level of morale among banquet service associates.

ADMINISTRATIVE行政

  • Insure that all guest complaints/requests are handled to the guest’s satisfaction.

  • Responsible for reporting all guest and associate accidents immediately to the Banquet Service Manager so that accident reports may be prepared/further assistance may be obtained.

  • Responsible for maintaining ongoing energy conservation and loss prevention programs among service associates.

The banquet supervisor candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of banquet supervisory experience.

  • Demonstrated excellent communication and hospitality skills. English proficiency is required.
