Responsibilities:
Together with the Director of Commercial Strategy & Director of Sales, agree and implement a rate structure for corporate and travel trade market segments for Mainland China for the properties of Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong and The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong
Work with the regional sales office in assigned territories to achieve production targets
Responsible for executing sales action plan to service corporate, travel trade and MICE segments for Mainland China
Service and greet VIP guests or groups upon arrival and farewell them upon departure
Responsible for sales activities in Mainland China with regular sales trips to China as needed and determined by Director of Sales
Secure, analyze, and evaluate economic and marketing information on China market, share regularly with sales actions implementation
Monitor sales activities of competitors and prepares appropriate strategies for review with Director of Sales
Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head
Requirements:
Degree holder in Business Management, Hospitality Management or relevant discipline
3- 5 years relevant experience preferably in luxury hotels
Able to liaise effectively with travel trade accounts
Dedication to providing great customer service
Self-motivated, willing to learn and able to work under pressure with tight timeline
Good communication and negotiation skills with both internal and external guests
Excellent written and spoken English and fluent Putonghua
Candidates with less experience can be considered as Sales Manager – China
