OVERVIEW
1. The IT Supervisor is based at the resort and has responsibility for the Systems and Technology for that resort.
2. The primary customers of the IT Supervisor are the resort guests and clients, followed by the management and staff.
3. It is the IT Supervisor’s goal to provide excellent services that delight the guest, support customer requirements and ensure that all business related objectives are met and that system stability and continuity are maintained.

Scope of the IT Supervisor responsibilities are to work with Resort IT Manager/Director to cover the following major areas but not limited to the bullet point examples:

1. Provide adequate physical security for hardware and related items 
2. Ensure that systems are securely configured with access to resources restricted only to those users who require such access to support their work
3. Ensure that access to resort systems and technology are protected from unauthorized access
4. In conjunction with the Human Resources department, immediately removes the access and password of separated employees
5. Anti-virus software is installed, kept up to date, and operational so as to protect the resort / office systems

Requirments
Minimum of 3 years relevant job experience in hotel IT, preferable in International brand hotel environment

PERSONAL SKILLS
·         Self-motivated individual able to identify and implement new technology related procedures that will improve guest service, operation, and profitability
·         Willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks
·         Good written and oral English communication skills
·         Good written and oral Chinese communication skills
·         Analytical approach to problem solving and a regard for detail and accuracy
·         Skill and proven experience in project management
·         Excellent teamwork, and inter-personal skills
·         Effectively manage supplier and vendor relationships
 
TECHNICAL SKILLS
1. Experience and education on Microsoft server and desktop operating systems and networking preferably.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft suite of office application products
 
HOSPITALITY SKILLS (Preferable)
A well rounded understanding and working knowledge of hotel/resort operations and experience of the standard systems employed by luxury hotel chains in the Asia region:
Hotel Property Management,  Spa and Point-of-Sales Systems
1. Key lock systems/related system
2. PABX, Call Accounting, Voice Mail
3. In-room entertainment system
4. High speed internet access
