About Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou
Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou is a luxury island retreat fully commanding a 30 acre (12 hectare) private island on the scenic Jinji Lake. Set to open in the second half of 2023, the Hotel will have over 200 well-appointed rooms, suites and private villas, lush gardens, indoor and outdoor pools offering a lifestyle that is uniquely Suzhou and uncompromising service that is uniquely Four Seasons.

Job Description
The Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou is looking for Director of F&B Sales who shares a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do.

Job Summary
Administration
• Ensure that the F&B Sales operations are aligned with the respective Corporate Strategy, and that the Hotel regulations have been appropriately implemented.
• Oversee the preparation and updating of LBFS Departmental Operations Manuals.
• Conducts regular departmental communication meeting and ensure that briefings and meeting are effective.

Marketing
• Prepare with the F&B Sales team, a yearly marketing plan which is in line with the Food and Beverage annual marketing plan.
• Continuously seeks marketing and public relations opportunities to increase awareness and ultimately business.

Operational
• Daily operation has to ensure that Four Seasons brand standards have been implemented.
• Set up personal plan for each sales manager in accordance with monthly and annual business plan of F&B Sales.
• Establish data base, responds to the results of the consumer audit and ensures that the relevant changes are implemented.
• Concern on all the change trend of customer, analysis the reason and provide according advice to Director of Food and Beverage
• Works closely with other outlet managers in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests。
• Ensures that F&B - Sales associates work in a supportive and flexible manner with other Food and Beverage departments.

Personnel
• Assists in the recruitment and selection of F&B - Sales associates. Adheres to hotel guidelines when recruiting and uses a competency-based approach to selecting employees.
• Oversees the punctuality and grooming of all F&B Sales associates, making sure that they wear the correct uniform and maintain a high standard of personal grooming and hygiene, according to the hotel and department’s grooming standards.
• Maximize the efficiency of associates by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching and / or mentoring.
• Work out departmental duty roster, ensure that they reflect business needs and other key performance indicators.
• Ensure that associates follow all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to fire and hazard safety, and security.

Customer Service
• Ensures that all associates deliver the Four Seasons brand promise and provide outstanding guest service at all times.
• Handles all guests and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, ensure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
• Establish a rapport with guests, maintaining good customer relationship.
• Spend time in the outlets to ensure that the associate’s performance of sales is in line with the given targets and functions to hotel expectations.

Financial
• Maximizes associates productivity throughout the use of multi-skilling, multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet the financial goals of the business as well as the expectations of the guests.
• Focus attention on improving productivity levels and the need to prudently manage utility and payroll costs within acceptable guidelines ensuring optimum deployment and energy efficiency of all equipment.
• Ensure that the outlet is operated in line with maximizing profit while delivering on the brand promise.
• Achieve the monthly and annual membership card selling target and other F&B Product selling target.
• Assist in the preparation of the Annual Business Plan for Food and Beverage.
• Ensures that all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to financial record keeping, money handling and licensing are adhered to, including the timely and accurate reporting of financial information.

Requirements
We are looking for individuals who are strategic, have strong business acumen, good communication, and interpersonal skills.
• At least 2~3 years relevant F&B sales experience on equal role, preferably in an International luxury hotel.
• Self-driven and a strategic resourcing professional.
• Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast pace working environment
• Good team spirit, multi-tasking, cooperative with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
• A Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English.
• Work authorization in China is a must.
