职位描述

1.    To assist with managing Customer Service

 

Creating an environment where everyone in the department is focused on “creating that special experience” to deliver exceptional customer service.

HOW

•Actively seeking verbal feedback from customers and staff of all different sections

•Positively dealing with and learning from customer complaints and comments with follow up and feedback to the related Manager.

•Making sure all customer requests and queries are arranged fast and efficiently delivered.

•Offer assistance to other sections whenever is necessary.

•Be pro-Active towards guests, assisting them with any reasonable requests, and training all staff to see these things before the guests ask.

 

2.    To assist with managing the delivery of Service Standards

 

To ensure all standards for Service Delivery as identified in the Brand Service Standards and Guest Satisfaction Manual and delivered consistently throughout the department.

•Developing action plans to address shortfalls in Standards and identifying shortfalls before they affect customer service

•Having detailed knowledge of Departmental Standards

•Being able to explain the Standards to the team

•Assessing staff performance against Standards

•Monitoring Standards through regular Standards Review Checks

•Implementing and following though improvements identified

 

 

3.    To assist managing the operation

 

To plan, priorities organize and control the day-to-day operation

•Maintaining technical knowledge and skills required for the job

•Understanding other departments and implications for your own department

•To assist to plan ahead and ensuring adequate resources are available

•To assist managing the departmental operation and taking action where necessary to ensure smooth running and participating in service duties during service periods

•Ensuring that shift are reviewed and handovers and briefings are carried out

•To assist to establish good communication with related departments such as HSKP, ENG, SALES, F&B, etc…

•To organize your own monthly section meeting

•attend & participate in monthly communication meeting

 

4.    Managing the team

 

To assist to provide and communicate clear direction to the team

•Understanding the aims of the hotel and the department’s role in achieving it

•Communicating aims to the team

•To assist setting and agreeing to departmental objectives for self and team

•Getting members of the team to work co-operatively with others

•To assist keeping the team up-to-date about departmental, hotel and company activities through regular communication meetings & memos.

•Participate in departmental team activities.

 

5.    Managing Sales

 

 To seek out and maximize departmental and hotel revenue opportunities

•Being aware of potential highs and lows in the business

•To assist in controlling and pushing different incentive programs carried by sections (RB&E Incentive, Rooms upselling, Limousine upselling, etc…)

•Identifying, communicating and action potential sales leads

 

6.    Managing Financial Performance

 

To assist to supervise the financial performance of the department in line with the profit plan

•To assist with forecasting potential revenues and costs

•To assist controlling costs without compromising standards

•To assist communicating relevant financial information to the team

•To assist set up and maintain the leave plans for your section (Public holidays, Annual & Long service leave)

 

7.    Managing People Development

 

To assist to select, train, coach and develop people to meet current and future needs of the department and the hotel

•Understanding the quantity and quality of people needed to operate the department

•To assist carrying out selection interviews and making effective recruitment decisions

•To assist with ensuring that Standards Training and assessment is carried out

•To assist with regular reviews of individual & team performance against objectives & providing feedback

•To assist developing and implementing training plans to meet business needs

•To assist carrying out annual appraisals in accordance with legal and hotel guidelines with all staff and identify individuals training needs

 

8.    Managing Health and safety

 

To ensure the health, safety and well-being of customers and all team members

•Understanding relevant Fire Safety and Evacuation procedures & the implications on the operation of the department.

•Ensuring that safe and healthy working practices implemented at all times

 

9.    Carry out other tasks as directed by your supervisors

 

 

Other Duties 

 

§  Positively representing the hotel team and WHM.

 

§  Understand and strictly adhere to Rules and Regulations established in the Colleague Handbook and the hotel’s policies concerning fire, hygiene, health and safety.

 

§  Ensure high standards of personal presentation and grooming.

 

§  Respond to changes in the RB&E function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.

 

§  Attend training sessions and meetings as and when required.

 

§  Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
