Job Summary:
1.To receive inquires for Leisure (Telephone, result of a sales call), and discuss with the Travel Agency further detail pertaining to beverage, budget, room and miscellaneous arrangements;
2.To issue instructions for functions to all departments via the order in advance. To supervise the preparation of arrangements of the concerned function to ensure everything is in order.Follows up on all deposit, contracts and cancellation charges to ensure the hotel policy is followed by all team member;
3.Prepare and deliver site inspections, familiarization and other things for potential customers(when necessary); ensure all detail of conventions are in compliance with hotel standards, including room set-ups, staging, lighting audio-visual, traffic flow, group room blocks, transportation, billing instructions and VIP services;
4.Fully understand Hotel’s marketing strategy, business plan, budget and goals. Base on hotel business budget assign personal goal to each sales person. To guide sales team to contact potential accounts and to ensure proper follow up of the accounts with DOS. To carry out the goals in the sales action plan;
5.To prepare weekly or monthly client activity plan and submit sales report and plan upon request. Organize training for team. To assist in the marketing plan and budget preparation for DOS and submit sales report and plan upon request;
6.To supervise and manager Sales Manager – MICE to sales call, sales activity, and achieve monthly personal goal and target. Coordinate with other relevant department to function to ensure instructions are understood and everything is in order.
Job Requirement:
1.Good interpersonal skills, strong leadership and aptitude, able to work under pressure and with minimum supervision, able to develop and train subordinates;
2.A minimum of 3 years hotel experience, ideally including operational experience as well as sales, marketing and revenue management experience;
3.Sales, Telemarketing, Leadership, Time management;
4.Good English verbally and written communication skills;
5.University Degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management and Sales & Marketing;
6.The ability to work as part of a larger team. Understanding when compromise and negotiation are important to achieve success in the role.
