Job Summary:

1.Monitor the daily operations of the Reservations department and ensure the efficient handling of data, bookings and client feedback.

2.Sell the products and services using up-selling and suggestive selling techniques, promote the Hotel’s products and service.

3.Ensures that guests receive reservation confirmation per IHG standard and time, direct input in the OPERA system, full awareness of IHG loyalty programs.

4.Track sales programs/promotions/advertising and provide feedback as necessary to relevant departments.

5.Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge about hotel.

6. Manage Hotel Bank and GDS close out/opening-up dates, if applicable in connection with the Revenue Manager.

7.Maintain knowledge of hotel rates/offers/promotions. Load and maintain rates in CRS system.

8. Execute action plans which increase reservation sales and associated business.

9.Control rooms inventory including allocation and reservations to maximize yield.

10.Monitor front office tracking of guest history data. Ensure accuracy of guest history and client profiles in the database.

Job Requirements:

1. A minimum of 2 years professional work experience with progressive advance and responsibility in an international luxury brand hotel, preferably at the Forbes 4 or 5 Star level.

2. Good communication and presentation skills.

3. Degree level education in hospitality or business related industry.

4. Good English communication both written and oral.
