The Middle House is an ode to modern-day Shanghai in the middle of historic Dazhongli. Designed by Italian architect Piero Lissoni using a mixture of Chinese materials like porcelain, ceramic, bamboo and lacquered textures, our House combines an impeccable sense of style with an eclectic art collection and a flair for dramatic entrances.

Job Overview
As a Director of Sales, you’ll work to ensure that the operation of the sales department is functioning at maximum capacity and to control the daily activities of the sales staff based on their respective job descriptions which includes group and travel sales, wholesale and other markets.

Here's the quick lowdown on what you'll do day-to-day:
As a Director of Sales, You can create result with us using your expertise to：
Give clear, concise directions, provides support and supervises team members to ensure that directions are properly executed.
Establish a climate of motivation and enthusiasm among Sales Team and contributes to same in the hotel.
Participate in the weekly Revenue Meeting with related departments.
Be familiar with key sources of business of Music/ Media/ Technology/ Fashion/ Arts/Sports/ Luxury lifestyle products/ Investment Banks and knowledge of key wholesalers in USA/ Europe and Asia.
Penetrate existing Incentive houses in Hong Kong and worldwide.
Establish good working relationship with all local and international travel agents and corporate accounts.
Adjust to changes in market requirements and the hotel’s sales strategies to meet business needs.
Involve Sales Team in creating business plans for the hotel.
Ensure that sales team are working productively and achieving their sales calls quotas and room night targets.
Co-work closely with the Restaurant and Bars and Communication Team teams to create and promote interesting and successful promotions for restaurants and bars. Ensures effective communication with other hotel departments. 

Requirements
Education: Undergraduate degree from an accredited university, college or hotel school.
Skills: Familiar with computer system and application software. Effective interpersonal skill. Excellent English and Chinese oral & written communication.
Personality: Goal driven personality.
