The position is hired by Capella Hotel Group Corporate Office in Singapore, the working place is in Shanghai, please find the role requirements as below:


POSITION SUMMARY:

Capella Hotels Group is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager of Digital E-Commerce to oversee our brands’ online distribution channels in China. This role is pivotal in driving growth, increasing revenue, and fostering a highly engaged community for the brands under the group. The ideal candidate will serve as a thought leader within the group, activating property strategies across owned and other e-commerce channels to enhance market share and create compelling online booking experiences.


THE ROLE:

Online Sales Strategy & Execution: 

  • Develop and implement online sales and promotional strategies to drive brand awareness, increase followers, and boost sales on the brand's online channels. 
  • Set and achieve goals for campaign planning, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. 

Content Creation & Engagement: 

  • Create and execute engaging content across e-commerce channels, including social media posts, email marketing, and the official brand website. 
  • Utilize a sound understanding of the multiple digital touchpoints in the travel planning process for both inbound and outbound travelers to optimize content and engagement strategies. 

E-Commerce & Distribution Strategy: 

  • Execute digital and distribution strategies, coordinating with respective hotels to drive performance. 
  • Manage the end-to-end process from booking to stay, focusing on conversions and materialization. 

Customer Sentiment & Review Management: 

  • Manage customer reviews, amplifying positive sentiments and enhancing the Net Promoter Score (NPS). 
  • Regularly audit hotel assets for accuracy and star ratings to ensure consistent quality and customer satisfaction. 

Reporting & Analysis: 

  • Provide comprehensive reporting and analysis on performance, identifying gaps and opportunities for growth in online direct channels. 
  • Collaborate with approved agencies to coordinate and execute online marketing efforts. 

Relationship Building: 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Online Travel Agency (OTA) partners to enhance distribution and performance. 
  • Act as a liaison between hotels and OTAs to ensure effective strategy implementation. 

Core Work Activities: 

  • Execute digital and distribution strategy 
  • Coordinate with hotels to drive direct e-commerce strategy and performance 
  • Manage reviews and ensure positive customer sentiment and NPS 
  • Provide reporting and analysis on online channel performance 
  • Coordinate online marketing efforts through approved agencies 
  • Audit hotel assets for accuracy and ratings 
  • Build strong relationships with OTA partners 



TALENT PROFILE:

Qualification

  • A 2-year degree from an accredited university in eCommerce, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. 

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales, marketing, digital, eCommerce, or a related professional area, with hospitality marketing or agency experience preferred. 
  • Prior experience in managing PPC campaigns and Google Analytics 

Technical Skills

  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful digital and e-commerce strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the travel planning process and digital touchpoints. 
  • Excellent content creation and campaign management skills. 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to provide insightful performance reports. 
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
