1、执行客房部经理的工作指令，向其负责和报告工作。2、掌握当日客房状况，监督客房服务员与总台的联系和协调，确保客房正常及时出租。
3、合理安排、组织和指挥员工严格按照工作规范和质量要求做好客人的迎送和服务，并做好客房和环境的清洁工作。
4、认真做好员工岗位业务培训，做到优质规范服务。
5、负责每一天巡查客房，监督服务员的工作状况，发现问题及时指导和纠正。
6、负责落实部门安全管理制度，确保安全。
7、负责处理客人的遗留物品。
8、负责处理客人特殊要求及投诉。
9、主持每一天的例会和组织员工全会，并做好记录。
10、负责管区的成本控制，督导和检查库房、布草保管员做好财产物料的管理，建立财产三级帐，定期检查部门财产物料的领用、调拨、转移的状况，做到日清日盘，财物相符。
11、负责教育和督导员工做好维护保养和保修工作，定期安排设备维修、用品添置和更新改造计划。
12、负责按照服务工作规范的质量标准要求，做好客房服务的各项工作，认真检查每一天的各种业务报表和工作记录。
13、保证客房服务24小时电话有人接听，监控服务质量，发现问题及时指导和纠正。
14、做好其他部门的沟通和协调。
