Job Summary:

As the head of department and member of property management teams, the Human Resource Director will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organizations mission and talent strategy, to enable the property to achieve organization and business goals.

Job Tasks:

Plan a reasonable & efficient labor cost

· Plan and optimize property organization and headcount;

· Keep updated on market salary and design a rational salary structure for property;

· Diversified employment strategy/solutions for efficient workforce planning;

· Control risk in employment relationship with updated local labor law and regulations;

Satisfied internal labor force requirements

· Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute talent strategy of talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning;

· Manage the talent acquisition process and collaborate with department to understand skills and competency for openings;

Enable employees to deliver quality service on brand

· Provide and schedule regular training (orientation, brand standard, service culture, skills, safety, leadership, train the trainer), and collaborate with department to set up departmental training and mentorship;

· Provide unregular training with identification of internal needs;

· Track and analyse on training result and feedback to improve and update training strategy and content;

· Work with department leaders to implement performance review system, keep tracking and execute according to results and problems;

Create happy employees and healthy working environment

· Ensure property policies and regulations are fully implemented among all employees;

· Create and launch all kinds of employee engagement activities to increase employees' happiness and satisfaction and synergized working environment;

· Offer various communication channel for employees, collect feedback/difficulties proactively and provide resolutions to maintain a healthy working environment;

Make plans strategically

· Plan and control department annual budget, and reasonably allocate job responsibilities within department;

· Set department goal, and keep tracking and reviewing status to make sure goal accomplished in time;

· Keep two-way communication with corporate to strategically design and implement HR guidelines and programs;

Create a happy team with high work efficiency

· Supervise and optimize department working process and guidelines;

· Work with function leaders to better understand and identify 'talent' and underperforming employees;

· Set up departmental job training for knowledge expansion and skills upgrade;

Supervisor/Mentor team members

· Track subordinate’s performance for review and improve;

· Provide resolutions to employee feedback and potential problem.

Qualifications:

· University degree or above;

· Relative education background in HR;

· Above 8 years as HR in hospitality industry;

· Proven experience and good performance in same position for more than 2 years;

· Proven experience in HR head position in a pre-opening property;

· Business Skills (Business Acumen/Consultation/Critical Evaluation): High

· Interpersonal (Relationship Management/Global & Culture Effectiveness/Communication): High
