3. 熟知菜单、食品配方及其它方面的知识，以向宾客推荐各种食品及饮料。

4. 检查餐厅设施及服务用品是否完好，做好设备维护保养工作。

5. 保持工作场地及餐具室内物品的齐全、干净、整洁。

6. 依照餐厅制定的标准程序和方法为宾客提供优质的酒水服务，和宾客交谈，回答宾客提出的问题。

7. 熟悉餐厅制定的标准程序和方法为宾客提供各类优质的酒水饮料的原料、制作、价格和所配相应的杯具，向宾客推销。

8. 向宾客提供礼貌周全的服务，对于宾客的要求、不满和需要及时做出回应及时向主管或餐厅经理汇报。

9. 记住所有宾客和常客的姓名，接受电话订座，使用最好的电话谈判技巧。
