Primary Responsibilities 

· Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks.
· Participating in the change management process.
· Testing and detecting network and system vulnerabilities.
· Troubleshooting security and network problems.
· Responding to all system and/or network security breaches.
· Identify and prevent malicious activity, carry out reviews of security events, and improve methods to develop security incident identification.
· Work with local and global teams to make sure that the business follows the necessary policies and regulations regarding IT security (i.e. PCI-DSS, GDPR).
· Liaise with other security team members around cyber security strategy, and reporting security information to management and executives.

Knowledge and Experience

· A degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related qualification. 
· Strong IT skills and knowledge including experience with firewalls, network security, endpoint security, incident detection and incident response.
· Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Go or PowerShell
· Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
· Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
· Great interpersonal and communication skills
· Excellent command of both written and spoken English
