a Director of Security to join our Security team.

Mandarin
Oriental Sanya features 278 elegantly designed rooms, suites and private pool
villas. The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Sanya is set in serene surroundings and
consists of 18 treatment suites situated in 8 beautifully appointed villas.
Each treatment suite includes private steam showers and the couples, VIP suites
are furnished with sauna, steam room and oversized bathtub. Some of the luxury
treatments on offer include the signature Oriental Essence, Thai, Aromatherapy,
Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, and Mandarin Oriental facial therapies.
About
the job
Based at
the Mandarin Oriental Sanya within the Security Department in Sanya, the Director of Security is responsible for the day to day maintain the safe
environment around hotel, deal emergency and administering supervision for all
colleagues within security department (patrol and fire control centre) to
ensure that smooth running of the operation to serve all guests have an
enjoyable and comfortable a stay as possible. Moreover, the Director of
Security is responsible to check staff working plan and training plan and
spot-check training section. Performance duties will accord the procedure. The Director
of Security reports to the Hotel Manager.
As Director of Security, you will be responsible for
the following duties: 
 
Supports     supervisors and colleagues in the daily operation of the department 
·    Ensures the General Manager and EXCOM are
appraised of all safety and security related matters in a timely manner
·    Provides security awareness and occupational
safety induction training to all newly hired colleagues
·    Produces various reports as required by the
MOHG’s Fire, Life, Health, Safety and Security guidelines
·    Responsible for the protection of hotel guests,
colleagues, assets (tangible and intangible) and other resources by developing
and maintaining an organization that is responsive to the current, continuing
and immediately foreseeable security, safety and health/hygiene requirements of
the Hotel
·    Stays attuned to statutory and corporate requirements
on fire, life, health and safety, and security (FLHSS) ensuring appropriate
activities are in place within the hotel
·    Maintains and develops close working relationships
with external contacts such as PSB and local government
·    Manages all security investigations
As Director of Security,
we expect from you: 
 
Minimum 5+ years of Director of     Security experience in luxury hotel
 
Familiar with hotel safety     regulations, fire control, emergency response and local public policies
 
High interpersonal skills
 
Relevant security management or     fire safety certifications are preferred
