Ensuringcompliance with all Corporate, area and hotel policies and procedures; andcurrent local and government regulations pertaining to employment practices
Ensures clear lines of communication exist todisseminate information affecting employer - associate relations, associate activities and hotel policies and programmes
Maintains and updates files on employee records,legal documents and other Personnel matters, efficiently and confidentiality
Maintains effective communications at all levels ofmanagement and staff
Assists in maintaining and creating a positiveatmosphere within the hotel that allows for open two way communication thatensures morale and productivity reach the highest possible levels
Monitors the administration of the PerformanceAppraisal Programme and acts in an advisory capacity to hotel department headson the process
Contributes to the development and implementationof improved methods of work and better utilization of staff in all areas
Ensures applicable laws, regulations, MO policies and procedures, and unionagreements are followed in relation to Grievance and Disciplinary procedures.Consults with department heads on appropriate actions and recommends tomanagement final action to be taken
Participates in developing and implementingprogrammes to ensure associatesecurity and safety
Ensures all staff facilities are maintained in goodorder and meet hotel’s cleanliness standards
Deals with all problems relating to individuals inan understanding, caring and confidential manner
Ensures all staff are aware of company benefits andmake these available
Maintains control of Pension plans and safeguardsboth Company and staff interests. Ensures that all Government Regulations areadhered to
Maintains hotel Disciplinary Procedures, conductsdisciplinary meetings and completes the necessary documentation as necessary
Ensures that all staff abide by the hotel dresscodes and hotel rules
Contributes towards regional activities as directed
To assist HR Officer and Recruitment Officer to runthe daily operations well.
To make sure all the coming applicants and newon-board staff are well received, etc.
