Co-ordinate the day to day operations of the Banquet floor to obtain maximum profit and maximum guest satisfaction

To obtain a copy of the Banquet Function/Event order, and to be familiarised with the clients wishes. Seeking further information or clarification from the Banquet Sales Manager should the need arise.

To evaluate each event order received as to the types of functions, set up time and style, F&B requirements, Audio visual requirements, manning, equipment needs, additional services and special requests. And action accordingly to ensure a smooth set up and running of the event.

To assign tasks and duties to all staff, with regards to set up, service and closing procedures. Ensuring that all staff are active and are aware of what duties they are required to perform on that day.

To hold daily operation briefings to assign the daily work flow, and individual event briefings for all staff involved. So as to ensure that all staff are aware of what they are required to do, to ensure the smooth running of all banquet events. Resulting in high standards of service and customer satisfaction.

To liaise with the Banquet office, Beverage department, kitchen and stewarding on a daily basis to ensure that all information is received, passed on and that any last minute requests, etc, are acted on accordingly.

Is required to directly supervise the service of all functions, lead and direct service of all functions, and ensure that the service and quality standards of the Department and hotel are maintained at all times.

Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local government agency.

Qualifications –
学历
Diploma in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or related field.

Experience –

3 years related experience, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
