 MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES 責任概要 :

Work for all properties within the Shanghai Downtown Revenue Management Marriott Cluster.    

1/ Revenue Analysis: Responsible for the analysis of revenue, profit, and demand associated with the hotel’s rooms and function space inventory.  Support for preparation of forecasts (budgets and projections).   Prepares analysis of progress to budget, projections, and forecasts.  Accountable for critiques of sales strategy effectiveness.  Prepares analysis of revenue and profit opportunity (historical and future).  Develops and/or utilizes analytical tools and systems toward the goal of maximizing total hotel revenue and profit.  Serves as a demand expert to the person performing the Business Evaluation and Inventory Management functions.  Facilitates Revenue Strategy Meetings and is able to answer questions from ExCOM audience of participating hotels.

2/ Inventory Management: Responsible and accountable for managing rooms and function space inventory; ensuring that the inventory is allocated and restricted properly in order to maximize total hotel revenues and profits.  Ensures that all rates, packages, eChannels and hotel sales strategy information is built in the hotel’s inventory systems.

负责管理室及多功能空间,确保库存;库存分配,适当地限制以便最大限度地提高酒店的收入和利润。

SPECIFIC DUTIES 工作任務 :

Support the immediate supervisor to lead, train and develop the team members(支持并且服从上级领导的指示,培训发展团队成员

 

1/ Revenue Analysis:

•  Prepares forecasts of revenue, demand and occupancy for rooms and function space- 3-6-12 months, long range and budget根据市场情况作出预算和长短期预测

· Is able to facilitate Revenue Strategy Meetings. 主持销售战略会议

•  Prepares and is accountable for sales strategy critiques and month-end reporting能够准备月末报告及上月的战略评估

•  Prepares the sales strategy meetings with critiques, findings and recommendations准备销售策略分析和建议

•  Support preparation of budgets for transient, group and catering.协助作预算

•    Manages all revenue, profit, and demand data associated with rooms and function space根据市场的需求管理房间及宴会的收入,利润)

•  Prepares revenue and profit opportunity analysis(准备收入和利润的机会分析)

•  Ensure that Good Data Standards are followed and used properly(确保数据标准正确)


2/ Inventory Management:

•  Manage room authorizations, rates and restrictions (e.g., group ceiling maintenance, forecast book maintenance, etc.) 通过房间数量授权 和房间限制对房态进行管理

  • •  Manage function space authorizations, restrictions, and rental(通过对宴会厅的数量授权,空间,时间限制进行对宴会收入的控制

  • •  Utilize Marriott’s revenue management systems and tools to ensure that revenue and profit are maximized(使用万豪提供的收益管理工具促使收入收益最大化)

    •  Serve as an inventory and restriction expert to person performing the business evaluation and revenue analysis functions. (作为一个对房态控制的专家对酒店的业绩作出评价和分析)

  • •  Ensure that the hotel’s sales strategies are effectively implemented in the inventory systems确保酒店的销售战略正确在系统中实施 )

    •  Support for weekly rooms and function space forecasts.协助每周的房态和宴会预测

  • •  Excellent inventory knowledge of function space and sleeping rooms to include the impact of varied setup styles, function setup/tear down times, configuration of moveable walls, etc. 精通房态管理系统的设置及其对收益所产生的影响)

    •  Excellent knowledge of revenue management concepts, tactics, and processes了解收益管理的概念,策略及流程

    •  Strong pricing analysis skills(擅长价格体系的分析)

    • Strong ability to extract and analyze data in order to draw viable/actionable business conclusions (有较强的数据提取和分析能力,得出可行的、可操作的商业结论)

    •  Experience with reservations systems(曾经使用过预定系统)

    •  Understands brand strategies and culture(了解品牌战略和文化)
